Hurricane Policy with Westjet Vacations and RBC Insurance:
Westjet Vacations will do all they can to re-accommodate our Guests in the event of a hurricane. This involves the cooperation of our suppliers, which has been excellent in past. However; it’s important to note our Terms and Conditions address schedule changes and delays. We do our best to assist our delayed Guests, as the situation merits, by offering hotel and meal vouchers. We strongly encourage Guests to have adequate insurance.

RBC Insurance:
Risk Coverage #20 – A written formal travel warning issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Canadian government after the purchase of your insurance, advising Canadians not to travel to a country, region, or city originally ticketed for a period that includes your trip. Coverage is the reimbursement of the non-refundable portion of your prepaid travel arrangements for trip cancellation. Also available is trip interruption per the RBC attachment.

Risk Coverage # 30 – Delay of your scheduled carrier, due to weather conditions, earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, for a period of at least 30% of the trip, when you choose not to continue with your travel arrangements. Coverage is the reimbursement of the non-refundable portion of your prepaid travel arrangements for trip cancellation. Also available is trip interruption per the RBC attachment.

It is important to note, that some credit card companies offer insurance as an inclusion. Please make sure of what you are covered for. If you are unsure, I can issue an RBC policy for you at time of booking, and if you find out you have sufficient coverage through your credit card company, I can refund the RBC policy in full, as long as there have been no claims made on the policy. This makes sure you have adequate coverage right from the beginning.

A valid passport is required by Canadian citizens to travel to Mexico. The passport should be valid for six months after your return date to Canada. If you are traveling on a passport issued by another country, please visit the nearest Mexican Consulate or visit the Mexican Embassy’s website for more information on what will be required for entry into Mexico. It is the travelers’ responsibility to make sure they have the proper documentation for entry into Mexico, and same for returning back into Canada.

*IMPORTANT: IF YOU CAN GO OR THINK YOU CAN GO AND WANT THESE RATES YOU MUST BOOK WITH DANA BEFORE THE 15th OF APRIL*

If you don't know if you can make it yet, I'd say don't worry too much. What that means is that the above quoted prices are only available until the 15th of April. The prices may go up or not. All of you should have either Marta's or my phone #'s so if you have any questions please call or email and we'll try to explain all this info.

Also, if you are thinking of coming but are not able to fly out of either Vancouver or Calgary, please contact Dana and we're certain something can be worked out!

Thanks for your patience folks! We're both VERY excited that the ball is now rolling!!!!! Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as can make it!

Cheers!

M & T
