Just a quick note to let you know there's been a positive change to the travel insurance!
The price of insurance has gone up just $5 per person in order to offer "special event insurance". What this means is that if the wedding needs to be canceled for whatever reason (Act of God, bad luck, horrible accident, yadda yadda yadda...) Then you'll get all your money back, minus the cost of the insurance you bought.
Here's the quote from our travel agent:
"I have just been notified of a new product with RBC Insurance. For $5 more per person, we can insure a special event. This means that if, and it’s a big if, they special event were to be canceled your guests could cancel for that reason and receive their money back. Please advise your guests that the insurance quote for Deluxe package and Non-medical package will increase by $5 per person. I believe this is a great product to add. There is also added protection for formal wear, with the delay of or damage to your checked luggage."
